Job Purpose
The main purpose of the SOC Analyst is to handle security incidents, conduct in-depth analysis, and ensure proper resolution of all detected threats.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze the bank’s security measures and assess their effectiveness
- Ensure network security to prevent unauthorized access
- Detect and analyze potential intrusions and compromises
- Lead investigations and track incidents to resolution
- Differentiate between false positives and real threats
- Alert stakeholders about security incidents and risks
- Monitor latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and advisories
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and report
- Perform configuration reviews of SOC devices
- Provide technical support through calls and other communication channels
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree / Postgraduate / Diploma in IT, Science, or Engineering with a strong IT background
- Professional certifications (at least one required):
- ECSA
- CEH
- CCNA Security
- CompTIA Security+
- CISSP
- OSCP
Work Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in SOC or Cybersecurity
- Strong experience in Incident Management and Response
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threat vectors, and risk management

- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork ability
- Ability to confidently engage with senior executives
