As a healthcare social enterprise, CCBRT delivers high-quality care while running extensive community development programmes, with a strong focus on supporting the most vulnerable groups.

The organisation is committed to preventing lifelong disabilities and operates comprehensive maternal and newborn healthcare (MNHC) programmes, including obstetric fistula repairs.

Its Maternity and Newborn Wing serves as a key referral centre for high-risk and emergency deliveries across Dar es Salaam and the Eastern Zone of Tanzania.

Job Summary (Your Role)

The Project Coordinator will support the planning, coordination, and implementation of projects to ensure the timely and effective delivery of activities and outcomes.

The role involves working closely with internal teams, partners, donors, and community stakeholders to enhance programme visibility, ensure compliance with reporting requirements, and drive measurable social impact.

Additionally, the role contributes to stakeholder engagement, outreach activities, and resource mobilisation efforts to strengthen programme sustainability and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate planning, implementation, and monitoring of project activities

  • Support programme visibility through outreach, stakeholder engagement, and awareness campaigns

  • Contribute to fundraising initiatives and proposal development

  • Oversee monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and impact reporting

  • Organise trainings, workshops, and capacity-building activities

  • Prepare technical reports, donor updates, and programme documentation

  • Maintain project records and knowledge management systems

  • Contribute to innovative programme design and community engagement strategies

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Health, or related field (Master’s is an added advantage)

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project coordination or programme implementation

  • Strong experience in stakeholder engagement, community outreach, and partnerships

  • Experience in grant management, donor reporting, and monitoring & evaluation

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools

  • Experience in NGOs, development organizations, or health programmes is an added advantage
